Through this alliance, the two companies will jointly promote the "Brain Sleep Conditioning Studio," an improved medical massage studio (acupuncture and moxibustion clinic) that opened today, May 12, and begin joint research to verify the effects of acupuncture and massage on sleep. Background of the Business Alliance BrainSleep has set "A fulfilling life through optimal sleep" as its mission and has been broadly developing businesses related to sleep with the aim of solving Japan's sleep issues, including product development based on sleep medicine, the sleep-specialized media "SleepediA," the health management service "Sleep Deviation®," various corporate consulting services, and sleep research. BrainSleep's "Sleep Deviation®" survey of 10,000 people nationwide clearly showed a correlation between "body pain" and "sleep quality." To improve sleep quality by addressing "physical ailments," the company newly focused on massage and acupuncture. Fureasu primarily operates a visiting massage business targeting the elderly, along with visiting nursing and home care services nationwide, providing comprehensive in-home services. As a leading company that became the first in the visiting massage industry to be listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market (formerly Mothers), Fureasu emphasizes the scientific basis of acupuncture and massage treatments and established a new research department, the "Future Creation Lab" (hereinafter "FCL"), in April this year. Therefore, in addition to evaluating acupuncture and massage and motor function, which FCL has previously verified, they have newly focused on the relationship between acupuncture and massage and sleep. Joint development of improved medical massage (acupuncture and moxibustion) treatment menus By effectively utilizing the knowledge of sleep, acupuncture, and massage held by both companies, we will develop improved medical massage (acupuncture and moxibustion) treatment menus based on the concept of "improving sleep and physical and mental well-being." 2. Operation of conditioning studio locations BrainSleep will operate "Conditioning Studios" (acupuncture and moxibustion clinics) as venues to provide the jointly developed acupuncture and massage treatment menus, and Fureasu will provide the treatment know-how and personnel necessary for studio operation. 3. Verification of the effects of acupuncture and massage on sleep We will verify the effects of the jointly developed acupuncture and massage treatment menus on sleep. By visualizing the effects of acupuncture and massage, we will provide treatment services based on scientific evidence.
