Outlast microcapsules themselves change between solid and liquid states in response to temperature, repeatedly absorbing, storing, and releasing heat to guide you to a comfortable temperature. ※ The video shows the phase change of the Outlast gel capsule itself between solid and liquid states when placed on a 36°C heating plate. By undergoing this phase change, it absorbs heat and regulates temperature.
The graph compares maximum temperature differences when room temperature is shifted dramatically between 10°C and 40°C. Cotton shows a difference of over 15°C; Outlast shows only 4°C. This demonstrates that its superior thermal regulation is minimally affected by changes in outside temperature.
The sleeping environment requires not just temperature regulation but humidity regulation too. Ordinary polyester fill gradually increases in humidity over time. Outlast fill, by contrast, is shown to maintain a consistently comfortable humidity level.
Flip between sides to match the season. In warm seasons, the smooth cool-to-touch fabric faces your skin; in cold seasons, the soft, silky peach-skin fabric wraps you gently. Please use it without a cover.

The quilting — a key feature of any comforter — uses more than double the standard number of squares: a 70-section quilt. Compared with conventional large-square quilting, the fabric lifts away from the skin more readily, minimising the unpleasant clinging sensation. You can use it with the same feeling as a traditional summer towel blanket.
