Project Goals
We wanted to use yoga to solve the poor quality of sleep in Japan, which is said to be a "national issue." In addition, in conversations with trial lesson participants and customers, we have heard them say, "I want to improve my sleep quality with yoga." There is a high demand for yoga programs for sleep, and we thought it was important to improve the quality of life. We asked Brain Sleep, a company that conducts sleep research, to jointly develop a yoga program specialized in sleep, "Blissful Sleep Yoga."
Results of the support
As expected, the response to "Blissful Sleep Yoga" was overwhelming, and when it was first introduced, the number of people booking was about twice as much as other lessons at the same time. In response to this high demand, the class was initially only available through the online lesson "Uchi Yoga +", but in March of the same year, the program began to be offered in brick-and-mortar stores as well. In the six months since it was launched, the total number of participants has exceeded 200,000, and now, along with online yoga, the class is available in over 400 studios nationwide.
