Can I wash it?
Yes, you can wash it at home. Please be sure to put it in a laundry net and wash it separately. (We recommend using the Brain Sleep dedicated laundry net for comforters.) The recommended washing machine capacity is 9 kg or more for single/semi-double comforters, and 11 kg or more for double/queen comforters. However, if it does not fit in the washing machine due to its shape or model, we recommend hand washing or using a large coin laundry or comforter cleaning service. Forcibly stuffing it into the washing machine may lead to washing machine malfunction, so please be careful. Please check your washing machine's instruction manual beforehand.
Can I use bleach?
Please avoid using bleach (chlorine-based or oxygen-based) as it may cause discoloration or fading.
Can I use a tumble dryer?
Please avoid tumble drying as it may cause shrinkage or deterioration of the product.
Can I use a futon dryer?
Yes, you can. However, please avoid using it on a Brain Sleep Mattress or near a Brain Sleep Pillow, as it may change the product's shape.
How do I dry it?
Please choose a dry day with suitable outside temperature and humidity for washing. Wash early in the day and dry by hanging it and alternating sides. When drying, gently pat the batting to fluff it up.
Is there a dedicated comforter cover?
Basically, it is designed to be used as is without a comforter cover. If you wish to use a comforter cover, you can use commercially available covers as all sizes conform to standard dimensions. We also offer a Brain Sleep comforter cover made from the same material. [Purchase here]
Can I use a compression storage bag?
Yes, you can. Please wash and dry thoroughly before using a compression storage bag. Also, when using it again, please take it out of the storage bag and spread it out to allow air to circulate through the comforter before use.
What colors are available?
It is available in one color: Stone Gray.
How thick is the comforter?
The comforter is thick and voluminous, approximately 10cm thick.
Does the comforter have a top and bottom side?
Please use with the blanket side facing your skin.
Does it generate static electricity?
The material has an anti-static treatment. However, static electricity may still occur depending on humidity conditions. In such cases, we recommend adjusting the humidity in your bedroom with an air conditioner or humidifier, washing it once, or lightly misting the comforter with water.
Does it use animal fibers?
No animal fibers are used at all. It is an animal-free comforter. Therefore, there is no animal odor, but the material may have an odor depending on humidity conditions. In such cases, we recommend spraying it with deodorizer and hanging it to dry, or washing it once.
